Mid-century Modern 2 tone Dresser Makeover!

I snagged this dresser from Goodwill thinking that it would go in Ethan's room, but hubby hated it...commenting "Well at least it's not for us" and a classic "Nothing good came out of the 70s". Um, yes? Alas, I redid it to sell instead...and I love it! It has such a unique design. Here is the before and one after I started the makeover:

I started out darkening the wood that I was going to leave exposed because that mid tone brown was just not cutting it. You can see the difference above after I darkened one side. I primed and painted the body frame and followed the design for the drawers. Top it off with some brown and white zebra lining inside those dovetail drawers...and you have the perfect mid-century modern piece!

I wish it went better with the style of my house because I'm loving it staged as a buffet at the end of our dark table. It looks fantastic!

This handsome stud has SOLD.
