**In the spirit of full disclosure it is not very sturdy because the pedestal base is so narrow. It already fell and broke on me once. Try using a larger base for more balance!**
You first saw this beaut in Reagan's first birthday party post. It worked beautifully for holding light and fluffy cupcakes with no wobbly mishaps of any sort!
Take a gander at my coffee station! It's so pretty! Yet it's another thing that's for pretty only and OMG DON'T TOUCH IT! Like my pretty throw pillows...I betta not find somebody leaning on those!!! I'll elaborate in a bit.
It only cost me $6 to make this 3 tier cupcake stand! You'll need 3 pizza pans, 3 clear candle sticks, and some good adhesive. I used Fix All Adhesive made by "The Original Super Glue Foundation". I got it all from the Dollar Tree. Primer
Easy peasy, just clean, prime, and paint both sides of the pizza pans. Then use the adhesive to glue the candle sticks to each pan. I measured for placement - at first. But they just didn't look all centered/even to me, so I eyeballed and moved them around a bit before the glue dried. If you follow me on instagram, you likely saw this picture of it drying upside down!
Okay, time to revisit my disclaimer about it being unsturdy. Sadly, my coffee cups are too tall to fit on the second or bottom tier of this stand, so I'm forced to put them at the top. My stand is, therefore, very top heavy. I literally don't use the mugs on this stand because my son removed one before and after a while, the thing came crashing down! However, when all the weight is evenly distributed it makes a perfect little coffee display! It did work very well as a cupcake stand! Those babies are light and even with people taking a cupcake from one side or another it didn't fall! :)
Coffee mugs on top, a few Keriug coffees in the middle, and the bottom stores a few ramekin dishes filled with different sweeteners!
Did I mention I love coffee??? Whacha think? Even considering the top heaviness...I love it!
