The girls' room was the first one I painted when I moved into the new house. I felt like with the change for her, I wanted her bedroom to be as familiar as possible. Most of the stuff is the same from Reagan's original nursery. Of course there's the addition of another crib for Addilyn, the room is smaller, and I switched out the old dresser for a new one with cleaner lines.
My personal style has definitely gravitated toward midcentury modern, but I feel like the little girls' room should be pretty and sweet! Though not over the top for sure. As usual, it's a work in progress!

I've definitely crammed a lot of stuff in this bedroom! They just need lots of things! It is for sure harder to photograph smaller spaces...prepare for lots of close ups haha!
First up is Addilyn's crib, which is next to the window. I used to have Reagan there, but she'd always pull at the curtains and mess with things!
Reagan finally got a big girl pillow! It's a body pillow that I grabbed at Wal-Mart because it matched their room. Anyone else an impulse buyer? I did not crochet her blanket, it's actually a Goodwill find. I only paid $3 for it! I couldn't have even bought the 2 colors of yarn for that! Honestly, it makes me a little sad to see crochet projects just given away after how hard I know I worked on their chevron baby blanket!
This gem I also picked up at Goodwill! It was $25 and just needed a little bit of repairing to be decent. This was Reagan's "big present" for her first birthday. She's still not super interested in it. lol
I'm so in love with this dollhouse by Hearth and Home at Target. As soon as I saw they were coming out with I just knew they needed one! This was their big Christmas present this year. Funnily enough, I actually ordered the LAST ONE online at the time! I even pre measured the nightstand to ensure it'd fit. I knew exactly where I wanted it in their bedroom! Click on the image below for this cute thing. It's currently out of stock, but hopefully they'll get more in!
Essentially everything in their gallery wall was either thrifted or a DIY. I love buying random frames at Goodwill for only a buck or 2 each and just spraying them the same color. It has a nice eclectic yet cohesive look! And it's cheap. That's probably what I like most!
I think their room is 99% finished. I want to add their names above each crib, maybe build new headboards for them, and I need a dust ruffle for Reagan's crib! Yes her crib mattress is sitting on top of another crib mattress...her springs squeaked SO MUCH. Naturally all she would do is jump in bed all night to make the noise and keep Addilyn awake. No springs. No sound. Problem solved! lol
I'd love to hear your thoughts! No seriously, nobody ever talks to me...!
