Hey y'all! Getting organized and decorating has been a slow process in the new house with a toddler and a new baby! It's a good day if I've showered and there aren't dishes all over the kitchen counters! lol I've basically just plopped my stuff down and purchased some essential furniture pieces. My bedroom is semi decorated; so, I thought I'd share it with you before I change it completely!
All I had to spend to get this look was about $40 on the curtains and $50 for the bed. Yep, that's it!
I already owned most of what's pictured. The bedding set is from my old guest room, the pillows stolen from different places in the old house, the teapot lamp that was hiding out in my pantry for a long time. The double chests, tall chair, and bench were all in the office. The only things purchased "new" are the bed and curtains. There's a dresser that's not pictured because it's mid paint job! :) I'd been hoarding that in the garage for about a year. No judging!
One thing that is glaringly missing is a headboard! I plan to DIY a giant one, and that is going to kick start my actual bedroom makeover. This was almost 100% a use what you have design, and that's just fine for now.
