I shared this photo on my instagram yesterday as a little teaser! You won't believe the before on this dresser! But first, a little back story...
I bought this dresser a long time ago. Literally years. I picked it up from Goodwill for $10. It. was. hideous! But it was also solid wood with dovetailed drawers that opened nice and smooth. S O L D. And just like me, I hoarded it. Shoved away in the garage under piles of other in the middle and one day projects.
Then I got pregnant. Then I moved out the week before having Addilyn. Then got divorced. I know, not exactly the expected sequence of events! I mention it because, suddenly all my years of furniture hoarding paid off! So, this dresser went in my bedroom in all its black and cream glory! *barf* But hey, he held my clothes!
It's ahmazing what a coat of primer and paint can do! Literally doesn't even look like the same dresser! This is the first piece that started my bedroom transformation from yellow to, well...you get the idea where it's going from this piece! I started with the yellow accents because it's what I had already. Honestly, my bedroom looks completely completely different from what I showed here! lol
This piece is for sure a keeper!
