Aerobic Treatment Systems
Aerobic Treatment Unit Installation in Ocala
An aerobic treatment unit (ATU) pushes oxygen through the wastewater to break it down further before it ever reaches the ground, producing a cleaner Class I effluent than a conventional tank. Ansleydesigns installs NSF/ANSI Standard 40 certified units for Ocala parcels where a gravity drainfield will not pass, which is common on small lots, tight soils, and high water table sites near Laurel Run.
Why Choose an Aerobic System
- Passes tough sites. When the soil percolates poorly or the lot is too small for a full conventional field, an ATU treats the effluent enough to use a smaller dispersal area.
- Higher treatment. The aerator feeds bacteria that digest solids more completely, which protects the drainfield and the groundwater.
- Nitrogen sensitive areas. Where an NSF/ANSI 245 nitrogen reducing unit is called for, we can design to that standard too.
Our Process
We confirm the site with a perc test, set the tank and aerator, wire the pump and float switches, and lay the reduced dispersal field. Because an ATU has moving parts, we set you up with the maintenance contract the standard requires and document the install for the 34480 permit record.
