Septic System Installation
New Septic System Installation in Ocala
A new septic system is an onsite wastewater treatment system, and every part of it has to be sized to your home and your soil. Ansleydesigns designs and installs the full setup, the tank, the distribution box, and the drainfield, from the first perc test through the final backfill. A three bedroom home in Ocala typically calls for a 1,000 to 1,250 gallon tank, and a four bedroom build steps up to 1,500 gallons.
Why Design Matters First
- Soil driven sizing. The percolation rate and the seasonal high water table decide how large the drainfield has to be. We measure, we do not guess.
- Permit ready layout. Marion County wants the setbacks held and the as built recorded. We lay the tank at least 50 feet off a private well and the field at least 100 feet, then document it.
- Right tank for the site. Watertight concrete is the common workhorse, while polyethylene and fiberglass suit tight access or high water table lots.
Our Process
We start with a soil percolation test and profile log, design the system to the results, and pull the permit. Then we set the tank on a level bearing surface, plumb the Schedule 40 PVC inlet and outlet, key in the gravel or chamber drainfield, and backfill clean before reseeding the disturbed ground near 34482.
